Help History Come Alive With Hands-On Sculpting With Clay
Help me give my students clay which we can use to model figures and create scenes to support our history curriculum. This will provide them with a hands-on visual representation to help them retain the content and concepts.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I'm always seeking more ways to help my SAI students retain the knowledge and make longer lasting connections.
Having hands-on sculpting with clay my student will be more engaged with the History topics we are studying.
Being a collaborative exercise that gives physical expression to their knowledge and understanding my students will have to collaborate with peers and refer back to the text for clarification. I believe this will be a unit culminating exercise that promotes greater understand, retention and connection to the information taught. Thank you in advance for considering supporting my project.
