Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach 12 Amazing students in grades TK-1st grade who all have Autism. They all have different needs. Some are verbal and some not. Half of my class are English learner as well. So visual support is essential in my classroom to be able to communicate with my students. They are loving, caring and kind students who are eager to learn. They learn best by incorporating visuals into our learning.

Visual support will benefit my student greatly because they will be able to communicated their wants and needs as well as I am able to communicate with them.

The materials I have requested are to help me create visual schedule for students who have a hard time with transition. The TPT gift card will help me buy visuals to label my classroom materials, buy personal daily schedule with pictures. I would print this and laminated and use the velcro dots to create the schedule on the clipboards or on their desk. I will purchase vocabulary words with visuals on them to my help support all my students.
