Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This upcoming school year I am moving classrooms. I will not have a lot of items in the classroom for my students to sit and use to feel comfortable and safe. I want to be able to provide stools, mats and a rug that will last me years to come for all of my future students.

Most of my students come from poverty.

In which they do not have access to a lot of fun and comfortable items. As well as we are a Title I school and a lot of our students are English Language Learners.

If you help my students they will feel that they are welcomed into their environment because their teacher cared enough to have feel a certain way.
