My Students

My students love engaging lessons and thrive on creativity. As their math teacher, I see them sometimes struggle, thinking that math and engineering are too difficult or 'not for them.' My job is often adding in excitement or making the concepts more relatable with gimmicks and hands-on projects. The kids love to learn new things, experiment, and even compete for prizes!

My students are brimming with potential and have a keen interest in engineering and puzzle-solving--they just need boosts in the right direction!

Many of my students have college in their future plans, whether in a traditional university or a community college.

My Project

This monitor will help my students learn the material with me interactively untying me from powerpoints and whiteboards to engage with them more dynamically.

This monitor will allow me to work with students affected by the COVID pandemic remotely more effectively by helping my lessons come alive with my own writing overlapping and working through problems and my voice describing and teaching through concepts.

Being tied to a board or to my computer requires me to stop our classroom learning to change a slide, move a paper, etc. With this monitor that detraction will be reduced helping my students stay more engaged.
