Help Give My Non-Verbal Students a Voice!

Help me give my students an Apple iPad in order to have access to augmentative and alternative communication tools.

My Project

My students are middle school and high school students who are non-verbal and need help to find their voice! I am requesting an Apple iPad in order to use communication applications to help my students communicate their basic wants and needs. I would like to put different communication applications on the iPad and help find the best voice for my students. They will be able to use the communication applications as a way to request for items and actions, comment as well as ask and answer questions during literacy, vocational and leisure activities.

My goal is for my students to be able to advocate for themselves and be as independent as possible.

Please help my students by giving them the tools they need to voice their thoughts!
