My Students
In my history class, we look to the past to understand who we are. We study both U.S. and world history, attempting to interpret the past through student-led research. Students discover history through a variety of rigorous activities and self-paced online lessons.
My middle school is a Title I school that mainly serves minority students.
We have a wide range of learners, from the exceptional children to the academically gifted. Our school was built in the 1920s in Greensboro, NC and has a long tradition of hard work and community.
My Project
Now that we are back in person, but also teaching students at home, lots of new challenges have emerged. One of the biggest hurdles has been sound in the classrooms.
Any time my students unmute their mics, there is a terrible echo, which keeps them from sharing their thoughts and participating.
This conference speaker and microphone will allow anyone in the room to be clearly heard during class, without feedback loops and screeching. The students have lost so much time interacting with each other, I don't want them to have any reason to miss anymore.
