My Students
I am a fourth grade teacher to an amazing group of diverse learners. We are located in East Flatbush, Brooklyn- a historical, proud neighborhood to many immigrant families. This is my first year of caring for so many English Language learners at a time, all of who dream of living up to their full potential of reading and learning at their age-appropriate levels! Currently we have no working technology in our classroom!! I would love to get my hands on at least one working laptop and printer for them to be successful in the classroom!
My Project
The students are all in need of these supplies to get our lessons and creative juices flowing. We are using what we have to the best of our ability but we can use these supplies in order to be as successful as we can. The color coded folders are essential for student subject work so that we can stay organized and keep our work together to show growth. The printer is extremely necessary because we have no working technology in our classroom and funding is limited. We would like to type on our classroom computer and publish our work for fourth grade! We also need a working dry erase board for our visual learners to succeed. We have the room for it, we just need to get it through our ‘door’! Please help in any way possible!
