I need your help! I have an amazing opportunity to attend a two-day educator training at the Ron Clark Academy and learn from master teachers to engage students.

My Students

My students are remarkable and diverse! They are full of energy, embrace technology, and love to interact and collaborate. They represent a wide variety of ethnicities, family structures, socio-economic backgrounds, and ability levels.

My students are part of Generation Z, which means they take in information quickly and learn differently than students in the past.

They are innovative problem-solvers who require constant engagement, and keep me on my toes at all times! I am always looking for new ways to inspire and motivate them.

My Project

Being a teacher today means that I need to keep up with the latest and greatest innovations and strategies for the classroom. I know visiting and observing teachers at the Ron Clark Academy will help push me even further. The teachers at RCA have strategies to excite and engage all students to learn and I would love to bring more excitement to my WLES students.

It is part of my job to keep learning for my students.

When I entered the teaching field, I knew my own learning was never going to be completely finished.

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to attend the Ron Clark Academy for this two-day professional development.
