This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a wonderful school in the South Bronx. Many of these children come from low-income homes. Our school has had budget cuts and it’s hard to get the supplies we need for our children. We have amazing children who deserve to have the supplies they need to succeed. Physical education is extremely important in school. Children need gross motor activities to keep them moving. Children are sitting all day long and it’s important for their education to get time to move around. You can help children get supplies that will help them in school.
My Project
Everyone should be wearing a mask. Many of the children come to school with a mask that doesn’t fit properly. We need masks to keep everyone safe. We are in the middle of the pandemic and we are going to have to wear masks for at least this school year. No one should feel scared or nervous because they don’t have a mask or don’t have one that fits properly. Thank you for taking the time to read our proposal. You can really make a difference in my children’s lives.
