I need help covering registration so I can have the opportunity to observe and learn from master teachers at the two-day educator training at the Ron Clark Academy to inspire and engage my students.
My students are remarkable and diverse! They are full of energy, embrace technology, and love to interact and collaborate. They represent a wide variety of ethnicities, family structures, socio-economic backgrounds, and ability levels.
My students are part of Generation Z, which means they take in information quickly and learn differently than students in the past.
They are innovative problem-solvers who require constant engagement, and keep me on my toes at all times! I am always looking for new ways to inspire and motivate them.
My Project
As an educator, I must stay on the cutting edge of the latest innovations and strategies in teaching. I believe the Ron Clark Academy will help me do just that. The way his educators excite students about education and the possibilities for their future, gives me hope that I can do same.
It's not my students' job to adapt to me as their teacher, but rather, it's MY job to grow and learn new ways to meet their needs.
I want to incorporate strategies that allow my students to be fully engaged in their learning and inspire them to invest in their education. This project will help cover the cost of registration for the 2-day training at the Ron Clark Academy.
