Help First Graders Stay Energized for Learning!

Help me give my students energizing snacks and flexible seating for busy bodies!

My Project

Young students have busy bodies and brains! They need snacks to stay energized and to keep them motivated and fueled in the afternoons. Having a healthy snack during writing is a relaxing time of our day they look forward to. Most of my students receive a free lunch, however many are not able to bring food from home. This gives them the "pick-me-up" they need and deserve!

Flexible seating helps students stay focused while being able to get out their wiggles.

Some students thrive with more choices and seating in a hard seat all day can be a challenge. Having a seat that can be moved around the room will help them move freely while keeping on task. It can be used for a calm spot for times when they need a break, and because the stools have a flat writing desk attached, they can easily still attend to what they are working on.
