Help First Graders Become Confident Readers! Part 1

Help me give my students books to help them become stronger and confident readers.

My Project

My first-grade students are eager to become strong, confident readers! They are full of curiosity and excitement, but many of them need extra support with decoding and fluency. To help them succeed, we need a collection of decodable and easy-to-read books that will allow them to practice essential phonics skills at their level.

Early literacy is the foundation for lifelong learning.

Decodable books provide structured phonics practice, helping students blend sounds and recognize sight words with confidence. Many of my students come from diverse backgrounds and need access to books that support their individual reading journeys. These books will allow them to practice independently, in small groups, and at home with their families.

With your support, I will be able to provide my students with engaging, age-appropriate books that match their reading needs. These books will help them build fluency, increase comprehension, and develop a love for reading. Your generosity will empower my students to take their first steps toward becoming successful readers!
