Help me give my students four Chromebooks for a way to accommodate different learning styles in ways that traditional curriculum cannot.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work in a 7th grade special education students in Stamford Connecticut. It is a very diverse middle school with over 600 students. The students in our school come from many different backgrounds and nationalities.
Many of my students learn the best using technology to help them with writing and reading.
Unfortunately, my classroom does not have enough computers to conduct our reading program on computers. I'm hoping that this year we finally get a class set of computers to help revolutionize the way my students learn.
My Project
These Chromebooks will allow students to collaborate and help extend a teacher's reach in the classroom. Students can receive more assistance with their work and develop different skills that they may have struggled with otherwise. A study by Stanford University shows that computers in classrooms help students “develop the higher-order skills of critical thinking, analysis, and scientific inquiry through active engagement participation, frequent interaction, and connection to real-world contexts.” This allows educators to instill effective work habits early on in a student's academic career. The Stanford Center for Opportunity Policy in Education found that technology, when implemented properly, can also close the achievement gap between students classified as “high-performing” and “at-risk.” Computers in classrooms create an interaction between students and course material that accommodate different learning styles in ways that traditional curriculum cannot.
More than half of students from low‑income households
