My Students

My fourth-grade class has 32 students in it. My students are eager to learn, enjoy school, and are motivated to succeed. They love to use their imagination and grow as learners. We are a large school with over 1,000 students. We are a Title I school and all the students in my school all receive free breakfast and lunch.

Many of the students in my school are English as Second Language learners.

We have many different languages spoken in my school. My students come to school with big smiles and are ready to learn and achieve great things!

My Project

We need additional leveled books for our classroom library. These books will help give my students additional choices when selecting their independent reading books. Having choices makes reading more exciting and also provides books at their reading level. It is important that my students have books that are at their level, so they understand what they are reading.

We also love to do projects after reading.

It is great to have many supplies to allow for creativity and choices. We will be able to create people and that represent the characters we are reading about by using the eyes and people cut outs. Help us explore the world of books! We can't wait to read about many different topics and to share what we have learned with our classmates.
