Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A printer is essential, especially in a special education classroom, this will help me print IEP documents on busy days. Having a rolling cart will make it easy for the students and me to grab the materials we need and work anywhere in the classroom.
This year I want to take the time to make the classroom feel calm and peaceful to help students when they are having a hard time.
I will be placing the lights around the classroom instead of using bright lights to give it a calming feeling. When they need time to calm down they can also use the tiles or tap into their creative side by building things. Finally, we will be using the headphones when they need to take assessments since everything is on the computer now.
