it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a wonderful school in the South Bronx. Many of these children come from low-income homes. Our school has had budget cuts and it’s hard to get the supplies we need for our children. We have amazing children who deserve to have the supplies they need to succeed. Physical education is extremely important in school. Children need gross motor activities to keep them moving. Children are sitting all day long and it’s important for their education to get time to move around. You can help children get supplies that will help them in school.
My Project
My students need healthy snacks to eat. I feel horrible for these kids when they are hungry and don't have anything to eat. Many children start school at 7:45 am and some of them go-to after school care and don't get home till 6:00 or later. I have brought in pretzels for the kids, but they need more snacks. No child should ever have to be hungry. The children have a hard time focusing and working when they are hungry. Please help my children get snacks and stay healthy in school. Thank you for taking the time to read our class proposal.
