Three and four year olds learn through information that is processed by their senses. It is essential that a Pre-Kindergarten classroom environment offers students many opportunities to explore the world through their senses.
They are full of curiosity.
They love to explore and learn new things. Step into our classrooms and you will witness the magic of self-directed leaning. These young learners approach the world with great curiosity and use their senses to help understand it. Hands-on explorations help them to develop many important skills and process a lot of information.
My Project
The light table will provide an additional learning area in our classroom. My students will be able to explore colors and light in our world as part of our science exploration center. Using a light table allows students to discover color, shadows and shapes. Light table play promotes numerous benefits: careful observation, attention to detail, sensory input, extended attention and focus. The Big Books will help children increase their understanding of their senses and what they can do while building their early literacy skills in a BIG way.
Learning in Pre-Kindergarten is not separated into clear subjects and all students are developing in different ways at different paces.
Your contribution will help tremendously in supporting all the needs in our classroom, present and future. Your donation will help to provide endless opportunities over the years for young learners to make new discoveries.
