This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Project

This project is designed to support the students in my class by providing adequate technology such as an iPad to access many online STEM resources and tools needed to complete our daily school projects and activities along with many other projects my students have expressed interest in.

The iPad Pro has many features that enhance our students' ability to document, share, and edit their work. The goal is to move from research/drafts, to editing, enhancing, and finalizing on the iPad Pro, to eventually presenting and sharing on the Macs and other devices. Some examples are experiments, podcasts, short films, instructional videos, etc... all related to the different topics and TEKS discussed/learned in class. This generation of students are very interested in recording audio and visual projects. The ability to create digital documents and save any research as well as edit in real time will help with their day to day tasks and allow them the chance to build their technological skills as they grow. This could lead to more opportunities as they grow into college students and adulthood.

All equipment is essential in the development and understanding of our lessons. These items can be very costly for families such as ours. Many of our students to do not have access to the internet or this type of technology at home. Your assistance will go a long way to ensure a successful academic year and help us continue to build and establish our learning culture and environment.
