My Students
Our school has about 300 students who study from Pre-K to 5th grade. Most of them are African American children and Hispanic children. Most of them come from low-income families. They are nice and respectful when they interact with other people. They smile at people when they meet people in the morning. Some of them are struggling in math and English, but they work very hard to overcome the challenges. It is my pleasure to be their teacher in the school this year.
My Project
Our school has participated in the Department of Education's Computer Science for All this year. My students have big dreams that they would create programs to change the world and make life better. In the computer lab, they have used different computer software, such as Scratch, Tynker, and Codespark, to develop their computer coding skills. They enjoy coding and are looking forward to learning advanced coding skills. ThinkFun Code Master Programming Logic Game and STEAM toy is an excellent resource that my students can use to visually learn computer coding. They can complete the coding tasks to assess their coding skills.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
