Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are scientists, technologists, athletes, engineers, and mathematicians (among many other things!). They are super curious and want to make a change in the world.

As part of this, they need to have ample exposure to the skills and materials that students in affluent neighborhoods have.

My students, for the most part, come from a neighborhood in a large city in Arizona. They aim to be scientists, technologists, and problem-solvers, tackling real-world issues. With your help, they will achieve these ambitious goals!

My Project

The days of textbook instruction are over - students need engaging content that allows them to learn at their pace, while checking their understanding frequently! My school is blessed to have access to 1:1 devices, but teachers don't always have the tools to utilize the more innovative practices that technology allows.

One way to help teachers personalize learning, while giving students choice & voice, is EdPuzzle!

This tool helps gives teachers at my school the opportunity to turn any video into a complete lesson, which includes questions that check for understanding, assess where they're at, and more!
