My Students

The second through fifth grade EC students have been working hard all year long on meeting their IEP goals! They continue to show up each day and try their best given this year's crazy circumstances. They have jumped between virtual and in person learning making the best of every situation. Our students have jumped up multiple reading levels and learned so many strategies that will help them for the rest of their lives (and that's just ELA)!

Despite all of the challenges this year has thrown at us, our students have gone above and beyond to reach their goals!

At Lab, we empower our students with the skills and mindset they need to grow into the thinkers, creators and innovators of tomorrow. Our school intentionally mirrors the economic and diverse make-up of the city of Charlotte.

My Project

Hello, Maggie and I are both new to Charlotte Lab's EC program this year. After this crazy year of teaching the Lower School's EC population both in person and virtually, we have a better understanding of what we need to help students on our EC caseload & in our intervention groups thrive! We would love to get some technology that could help us make learning more fun for our students. We are hoping to build up our library of resources that will benefit our students for years to come!

We are seeking to get a projector to share amongst the two of us so we can project worksheets or activities onto a large whiteboard to make our groups more collaborative and interactive for our learners. We are also hoping to get an iPad to share so that we can have access to educational apps that we can use as a reward for our students after a day's hard work.
