This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are hard working, hopeful, and curious to embark on a journey that involves community building, exploring, and doing the unthinkable to create change and bridge culture.

Our teens are unique in that they've faced some of life's most difficult challenges.

Our class of seniors want to embark on a senior trip that involves volunteering with wildlife, improving in sciences, and bridging culture.

Our seniors want be the change in the world while being solution oriented to developing solutions to help wildlife and people in our communities. Simply put, students want to feel connected to something larger so that they can help our communities.

My Project

This trip will make a difference in our students' lives because students will be working with nonprofit organizations geared to helping wildlife, conserving water, and preventing deforestation.

My students are empowered, hopeful, and curious to explore on a journey to Southern California that involves assisting non-profits so that they can gain experience in conservation work while helping communities of wildlife and people thrive.

Everyone of our students has survived life's most difficult challenges and this project will allow them to show their resilience by working with some of CA's most endangered species of animals and plant life.

My students continue to dream of doing STEM Research in places like Northern and Southern California because wildfires, water and electric shortages continue to plague our state from growth.
