My first-grade students are part of a Dual Language Immersion (DLI) Spanish program, where they are developing literacy skills in both Spanish and English. They are enthusiastic, hardworking, and eager to grow as bilingual learners. Keeping their materials organized is essential for helping them transition smoothly between activities in both languages.
I am requesting 60 book holders to help my students organize their ELA and Spanish literacy materials.
These book holders will store their independent reading books, writing journals, and phonics materials, giving them easy access to the tools they need throughout the day. By having a designated space for their materials, students can take ownership of their learning and stay focused on developing their bilingual skills.
Organization is key to fostering independence in young learners, especially in a bilingual classroom where students are navigating two languages. These book holders will prevent lost materials and distractions, allowing my students to spend more time reading, writing, and building their language skills. With your support, we can create a structured, engaging learning environment that sets them up for success in both Spanish and English.
