Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our critically ill and medically fragile students need classroom basics. They need interactive books and map puzzles, post-it paper pads and colored markers.
Students like to use colored markers and post-its for writing.
The students requested watercolors for painting. These supplies with support two teachers' classrooms. The students love having their own school supplies. Having their own supplies makes learning engaging and fun.
My students are my heroes. They love to learn new things and read interactive books and use interactive maps. They like to use playdough. Balls can be used to help them better understand math and to help relieve stress.
Most of my students are from low-income households. My students are the most inspiring people I've ever met. My students are brave. I work with students in grades K - 12 who have serious medical issues. All of my students come to school ready to learn. It is a joy and a privilege to work with these students. Each day, they try their best in school.
All of my students are a pleasure to work with. In addition to their serious medical problems, most of my students reside in high-poverty neighborhoods. My medically fragile students need interactive learning materials.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
