This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am writing to you on behalf of PES in Utah - a Title 1 elementary school dedicated to providing quality education to children from diverse backgrounds. At my school, we believe that every child deserves access to enriching educational experiences that foster creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression.

Our school's Beverly Taylor Sorenson Visual Arts program plays a vital role in nurturing the creative talents of our students and fostering their love for the arts while encouraging cross-discipline learning.

However, like many Title 1 schools, we face significant challenges in providing adequate resources to support our art curriculum - we often find ourselves limited in our ability to offer the wide array of supplies and materials necessary to fully engage and inspire our students.

This is where your generosity can make a meaningful difference. We are reaching out to request donations of supplies that will help us enhance the learning experiences of our students and empower them to explore their artistic potential.

By donating these supplies, you will not only be providing tangible resources but also helping to create opportunities for our students to express themselves creatively, develop their fine motor skills, and build confidence in their artistic abilities. Moreover, your generosity will demonstrate to our students that their education and artistic endeavors are valued and supported by caring individuals like yourself.
