Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Last year, I created a Craft Club with a group of students who enjoyed designing and making things using our classroom Cricut. Every week, we met and created cards for holidays, personalized water bottles, and, most importantly, valued our crafting time as a way to decompress from the pressures of school. To continue our club this school year, we need new supplies: Tumblers, cosmetic pouches, heat transfer vinyl, and hoodies. During our Craft Club meetings, students will use the supplies to design and create items, giving them a sense of belonging while providing a safe, creative outlet.

With your help, we can ensure students have access to materials that support their social-emotional learning while fostering a love for arts and crafts.
