This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Hello! Thank you for taking a few moments to look over my Donorschoose.org project. I teach in a rural school where over 75% of the students receive free or reduced price breakfast and lunch. My students love to learn and are especially interested in Science, Math, Literacy, Art and Technology.

Teaching at a small school can be rewarding, but sometimes difficult.

We are blessed with smaller classroom sizes, but often do not have the necessary funding for technology. My students enjoy using Kindles, unfortunately I have only enough Kindles for a third of my class. I would love to purchase additional Kindles to allow my students the use of technology whenever they have time.

My Project

I recently ordered 10 Kindles for my classroom and now I am needing help to purchases the cases for the Kindles. My students love technology, but I want to make sure that the Kindles are properly protected while being used. Please consider donating so my students can be one-to-one with Kindles.

The Kindles were purchased to help my students with their reading in the classroom.

Many of my students do not have technology in their homes. The only technology that many of my students have an opportunity to use is in the classroom, these cases will make it possible for the technology to be used while keeping the Kindles safe.
