My Project

Hello! We are a 1st Grade class at a Title 1 Charter School on the Southside of Chicago. We are in need of different types of supplies for our classroom. The major supplies we are looking for are books for our Read Aloud and Guided Reading periods. We find it extremely beneficial for our students to have the physical copy of the books rather than the printed out version, so they are able to completely experience the story. We are also looking to receive a book shelf to help our students easily "check out" books from our classroom library and develop the love for reading we know they have.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
