My Students
“Speech therapy, let’s give then something to talk about!” I work with some awesome CLS students as a school based speech language pathologist. These students are the happiest group and just love to be at school and learn hands on with their teachers and friends.
My Project
These materials will be used for school based speech therapy for CLS students with autism, Down Syndrome and intellectual disabilities. They love to play games and be creative and respond awesome to therapy play! They will be used in therapy play and matched with various books and materials to improve students expressive and receptive language skills. Play materials are often paired with a lesson to keep students engaged and to help target specific goals that a student may have. The materials chosen have endless possibilities of therapy games and target students goals on various levels.
