My Project

Our demographics have changed so much over the years, and Naples is no longer a paradise for rich people. We get Hispanic students from many countries, as well as Russians, Bulgarians, and Haitians, all with needs for our dress code.

Students always work and feel better when they don't feel different in a negative way.

Our students are performing so well on our statewide tests and in their grades, but there is a definite difference in the way they dress. An organization in town supplies shoes for students, but polo shirts and socks/footies are always in short supply. We go through at least 20 polo shirts per year and many pairs of footies when we can get them. Local people do donate some used polo shirts, but look used, and I just want our needy students to have new ones for a change.
