They are drawn to them as soon as they see the puzzle! Currently, we have the autumn puzzle and the Ravensburger puzzles displayed. You should see their faces when they see the puzzles! Even the adults can't walk by without stopping to look and touch the puzzle pieces!\r\n\r\nStudents enjoy working on the puzzles. It brings them together as they collaborate in a joint effort to analyze and solve the puzzle bit by bit, piece by piece. It is agreed, that each solve, each match is so satisfying.\r\n\r\nWe will move and use puzzle boards as our schedule fluctuates, but definitely look forward to PBIS reward days where we will set up all 4 boards with puzzles and set out extra puzzles as needed. With this donation I was able to purchase video cameras for the students to be able to use to video their falling rockets in slow motion. The slow-motion video was then carefully analyzed to determine the exact time the rocket took to fall 2 meters. The slow-motion cameras greatly helped increase the precision and accuracy of the student's measurements. The students were able to then determine that as the mass of the rockets increased the rate the rockets fell remained constant.
