This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are loving, caring, hardworking, and worthy! I love how funny they each are! They each have amazing personalities, and they make me smile every day. They are the reasons I love what I do! They are inspiring and motivating. They make me a better person every day, and I learn so much from them. They come from some of the worst socioeconomic demographics; however, they have a great support system in our classroom and I do everything possible so they can be academically successful.
My Project
Help children with exceptional needs to complete day-to-day tasks by having classroom supplies. Students need Expo markers so that they can have interactive classroom discussions while using their whiteboards and Expo markers. The majority of my students come from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds and need help with daily supplies like pencils. My students will use pencils daily to compete in classwork. I teach my students job-skills and apart of that is completing resumes and cover letters. My students will use the ink to print them out to apply for jobs. My students often use tape to attach additional papers together and to create projects for certain tops throughout the year, making foldable, projects. and repairing folders as well.
Students will use all of these materials daily and will be academically successful because of your support!
