Do you remember the first time you sat on something comfortable in the classroom to read a book?
I teach Pre-Kindergarten to eighteen wonderful children in New York City Area.
These children are so creative. They deserve to have the work stored in an area that they can look back on it. We have a wonderful school however, it is very hard to get supplies we need for all our children.
My Project
How great would it be to have a cozy area for children to read books? Many times when people read books they read them in their bed or on a couch. Not many people sit at a desk or small chair to read a book. My class loves to read books. They also love to read together. If the children had a cozy sofa to sit on it would help engage more children to sit and read.
You will make it possible for the children to sit in small groups in a comfortable area to read and learn from one another.
The children will be able to read for pleasure through out the day. Thank you for reading my proposal.
