My Project

I am an elementary gifted resource teacher in a Title I school. I support all the students in K-3, identified gifted students in 4-5, and students of historically under-represented backgrounds in gifted education programs. I am seeking donations of hands-on games and activities that will challenge my students as learners. The games will complement and enhance the gifted education curriculum while also emphasizing social-emotional learning in a supportive and nurturing environment.

The young students at my school will develop valuable life skills by playing these games that encourage communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

The games will challenge them intellectually while engaging them socially with their peers. The ultimate goal will be for the students to realize that challenge and "fabulous struggle" should be celebrated as a natural part of learning and growing.
