My Project

We have created a school-based business, Cali Cafe` in our Special Needs Classroom. We offer drinks and snacks to our faculty that are prepared and delivered by our students with special needs. To run our business, we require many items and supplies to prepare the drinks and snacks. Paper products, coffee, sweeteners, and syrups are all items that help us with our business. Due to the number of items needed to run our business, we have been hampered because of the extremely high overhead.

Our project will help students acquire jobs at higher wages after they graduate.

Also, students who participate in special education in integrated settings are more likely to be competitively employed than students who have not participated in such activities.

Help our students learn math skills, kitchen skills, social skills, and so much more to make them successful!
