This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students of all home languages need access to quality, age-appropriate books to build early literacy skills. Help me build a Spanish library at our school to provide Spanish books to our Heritage Spanish speaking students and our English speaking students alike.

Reading authentic stories from Spanish speaking countries helps open the eyes of our students to the culture and literature of Spanish.

Building a Spanish library will help build our inclusion of diverse students!!
