My Students
I teach at a Title I school. We have a high population of English language learners as well as students who are new to our country. The students love to learn and are excited to come to school each day.
Our kids come from diverse backgrounds including low socioeconomic backgrounds, as well as migrant, at-risk, and bilingual students.
Our community does a great job of supporting our students; however, there just never seems to be enough funding for everything we want to accomplish.
My Project
Learning should be fun and engaging and BrainPop does just that. Students like learning in different ways and Tim and Moby engage students to teach not only academic subjects but social and emotional topics.
Students learn through videos, games, quizzes and more through this highly engaging website.
BrainPop can be used to teach new concepts or used to review content taught through other mediums. It is a well rounded program that my students will benefit from. It introduces them to Van Gogh to George Washington from addition and subtraction to the solar system.
