The environment is a Title I school with a lot of personality. My students are creative thinkers, who thrive on routines. My students enjoy hands-on science, math, and technology.
The school is in an area of high socio-economic need.
The children have to overcome many challenges and struggles in their daily lives. The school has a limited amount of science materials, math manipulatives, and classroom necessities. I believe these wonderful children deserve to have the same opportunities as other schools.
My Project
Creating an environment where students are engaged in hands-on Science and Math is important in my classroom. We need materials to help build our classroom supplies. These supplies will be used to help educate my students through learning about animals, liquids, temperatures, rocks, and fossils. Students will learn science terminology through playing fun games including, bingo.
Science is a time where students question, explore, and collaborate!
Students will use the Science Center Kits to create engaging hands-on learning. My students come to school with high energy and ready to learn. These materials will help reach every type of learner in the classroom!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
