Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a dedicated teacher, I create all of my lesson plans, presentations, and classroom activities digitally to make learning engaging and accessible for my students. Unfortunately, my current MacBook has stopped working, and without it, it’s incredibly difficult to prepare the high-quality materials my students deserve.
A new MacBook will allow me to continue designing interactive lessons, communicate with families, and access essential teaching tools.
Students will benefit from the MacBook Air as it will enable me to create and deliver interactive, multimedia-rich lessons that engage diverse learners, including English Language Learners. For example, during a science unit, I can incorporate videos, simulations, and digital storytelling activities that deepen students’ understanding of complex concepts. The MacBook’s portability and performance will allow me to quickly adapt lessons and provide real-time feedback, supporting differentiated instruction and fostering student collaboration through online platforms. Ultimately, this resource will help me enhance student engagement, support varied learning styles, and improve academic outcomes across content areas.
