Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Funding this project will create a lasting impact on so many students and their physical and mental development! Students at our campus have rallied to have lacrosse be a sport here and as a former lacrosse player myself I think there is so much value to adding lacrosse to our campus community. These items will be used for an elective class that students have signed up for where I will be teaching them the basic fundamentals of how to play lacrosse. The class will also be very student-led because of the sheer excitement many students have expressed who play lacrosse and are eager to showcase their athleticism and leadership skills. I hope to offer students an outlet to try something new or continue to develop their skills while representing our amazing school community! These students are eager, passionate, and motivated to learn and grow the game of lacrosse and I am honored to be their adult spearheading this project. If you are able to fund some of this project, I would like to extend my dearest thanks on behalf of the students and myself because without you and your support none of this would be possible!
