My Project

I’m seeking funding for a portable TV to enhance instruction and engagement in my third-grade classroom. This tool would make a world of difference in how I present lessons and how my students interact with the material.

Many of my students thrive with visual and interactive learning.

A portable TV would allow me to display educational videos, model digital math games, read-alouds, science experiments, live news segments for current events, and so much more—right at their eye level. We could move the screen wherever it's needed most: close to small groups for interventions, at the front for whole-class lessons, or into quiet spaces for students needing a calm, focused environment to review concepts.

Several of my students benefit from differentiated instruction due to ADHD, anxiety, or IEP services. Having a portable TV would give us the flexibility to tailor how and where we teach them, and how they engage with content. It would also allow me to model how to use academic websites or tools like Kahoot, Blooket, or interactive whiteboard platforms in real-time, keeping all learners involved.

Technology should be a bridge, not a barrier—and right now, we're limited in how we can use the tools we have. A portable TV would provide a dynamic, versatile way to bring curriculum to life, support struggling learners, and challenge advanced thinkers.
