Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a wonderful school in the South Bronx. Many of these children come from low-income homes. Our school has had budget cuts and it’s hard to get the supplies we need for our children. We have amazing children who deserve to have the supplies they need to succeed. Physical education is extremely important in school. Children need gross motor activities to keep them moving. Children are sitting all day long and it’s important for their education to get time to move around. You can help children get supplies that will help them in school.
My Project
It has been a tough year for everyone. You can help bring a smile on the children’s faces. We want to have a Easter Egg hunt. We want to have a rabbit hide the Easter eggs on the school playground. We will make this into a math lesson to see who can find the most eggs. We will make a bar graph off all the children’s names and see what the average number of eggs found was. You can help bring our math lesson to life. Thank you for taking the time to read our proposal.
