My Project
Quality color printing is a key asset in a prekindergarten class as young children engage better with color materials, which instinctively draw their attention and pique their interest. Not having a printer in my classroom has been very challenging this year.
Having access to a color printer will allow me to bring a variety of enrichment activities and differentiated work to my prekindergarten students.
A printer is essential for my classroom for various reasons. I will be able to print various visual aids that provide support to my students. Also, a printer will enable me to print out pictures of my students doing class projects, as well as pictures of them with their families to be displayed on the classroom bulletin boards. When children see pictures of themselves up on the classroom bulletin boards, they get excited but more importantly, it sparks conversations with their peers. Additionally, this printer will also make our daily activities more visually appealing. There is so much I could do for my students with a printer in the classroom.
