This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I’m a proud 1st grade teacher with a big dream: to create a classroom that feels like a second home—a place where my students feel safe, excited, and ready to learn each day.

To make this happen, I’m hoping to add a cozy carpet, wireless mice, student headphones, and comfortable floor cushions.

These simple tools will transform our learning environment and help meet the needs of all my students:

The carpet will be our gathering place for stories, lessons, and class discussions.

Wireless mice will help little hands easily navigate digital programs and activities.

Headphones will give students the focus they need during independent learning and online lessons.

Cushions will create cozy, flexible spaces for reading and working together.

For many of my students, school is more than just a place to learn—it's a safe space filled with love and opportunity. Your donation helps bring comfort, creativity, and calm into our classroom.
