Help! Art Projects in Progress!

My students need a new sharpener, ceramic glazes, tacky glue, modeling clay, playfoam and texture wands for our special needs students.

My Students

"What are we doing today?" This is the first statement I hear from students when they enter the art room. They are always very anxious to get started on a project and to use their creativity. My students come from wonderfully diverse backgrounds of culturally different inner city kids, who are always excited and anxious to make art, and learn about different techniques, and artists.

We have tight budgets with limited amount of resources, so my artists need your help to make sure that each artist will have the opportunity to have the best quality of art education.

Our students love to create, and with these supplies, students will be able to continue with projects that are planned, which will give them the best experiences that I can provide for them.

My Project

Our students are in great need of various art supplies, such as ceramic glazes to finish art projects, spurs to use to fire projects in the kiln, and electric pencil sharpener to keep student inspirations uninterrupted by old sharpeners that don't work and that are so loud that they hear it next door.

Our special needs students need playfoam, and special texture wands that will aid them in their sensory needs!

We don't have a lot of art supplies to help with our students with Autism, so this is a priority for this project! Our students with Autism will be excited with the textures and sensory input that they will get through the playfoam.
