Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The various storage containers, bags, trays, and caddies selected for this project will help organize the 3 different art classes that are taught in this classroom. My hope is to make everything easily accessible with the numerous clear containers and a developed label system with the help from Teachers Pay Teachers. The room has a lot of cabinet space and an extra storage room that I would like to utilize efficiently. This would allow my classes to run more autonomously, so my students would easily find what is needed for their projects.
Currently, I have all the supplies in the original shipping boxes, and things aren't easy to find.
I have mixed supplies together and misplaced items forcing me to repurchase materials. This would help track what we already have and make room to acquire more. Students would then have more options when completing their projects.
Lastly, many of our students don't have secure places to keep their work, so the archival storage boxes would allow us to store their art safely which they can later access as they develop their senior portfolios or in their AP art courses and transfer after high school.
