My Students
I am a nurse in a busy middle school with so many wonderful students who come to see me. I provide water cups, clothing (when I have some), underwear to girls, pad, tampons, crackers, and a safe place for my students to come when they are not feeling well.
My Project
The cups provided from this project will help my students stay hydrated, which is important in brain function, as well as fulfilling daily functions. These cups will help when students come to the clinic with headaches and stomachaches as we often treat these ailments with water. Many of my students do not have water bottles and cannot afford one.
The feminine hygiene products provided from this project will help my female students.
I have many who are unable to afford feminine hygiene products for school. I also have many female students who are getting their period for the first time and need feminine hygiene products for the first time. These pads will help keep my students in the classroom learning, instead of having to worry about not having the feminine hygiene products that they need.
