My Project
Hello everyone, I just started teaching Digital Literacy to 7th and 8th graders at our school halfway through October and have been enjoying every second of it. This is my first time teaching and I could not have asked to be teaching a better group of students. I love the community of students, parents, and staff at our academy and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to teach at such a wonderful school.
As a first-year teacher, this project could help me create an amazing classroom for my students.
My classroom needs some decorations to make it feel alive and more welcoming. My students require new computer mice as the current ones are not in the best shape anymore. A lot of fidgets left to me by the last teacher are getting worn out, broken, or lost and some new fidgets would be nice as they help the students focus, regulate, and can be used as rewards. I also need classroom basics like markers, pens, construction paper, staplers, sticky notes, organizers for student materials, and a storage cart to keep supplies that can also be used for students to turn in assignments.
The students at our academy are extremely special; as I said earlier, I could not wish for a better group of students to be teaching. I have wanted to teach for some time now and to have this opportunity, especially with such amazing students has me grateful beyond words.
