Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 7 wonderful students have moderate to severe Autism. They are in 9th-12 grade on a general education campus. Part of our curriculum is cooking. I would like to ask for an oven to help bake their finished product, and the tools to help with preparation of the food. The board to show pictures of them with their finished project.
The lessons teach my students life skills, fine motor skills, and social skills.
With your help I can show them many ways to make healthy and nutritional meals. These lessons will help set the foundation for the rest of their lives. With this population of students they need to continue to work on these skills so that they can be a productive member of society. I would like your help to get them started.
