This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom is a beautiful place where amazing things happen every day. Students come into this classroom from every walk of life imaginable. Upon walking into the classroom, you will see a diverse group of students who share the same love for school and friendship.
The classroom rug is a common meeting place for students and teachers.
New concepts are introduced and practiced. Stories are heard. Thinking takes place. We can gather around something new and explore it together. It's that one special place where everyone feels welcome and knows that something new and exciting is about to take home! This rug would be so beneficial to my classroom! The carpet will also be a safe space for my students to read independently.
